  8. This is just a little bugfix of the installer script.

  21. Discription:
  22.     Laplace is (or at least should be) an universal tool for
  23.     mathematical calculations. It lacks such a GUI with hundreds
  24.     of windows like those other progs I've found on AMIGA.
  25.     Instead it works like a shell, you enter a command and get the
  26.     result displayed, which is much more flexible.

  28.     This is just a beta version!!

  30.     There WILL be much more implemented, but I need ->»YOUR«<- support
  31.     and suggestions !!!!

  34.     - works fully symbolic.
  35.     - most basic real, vector and matrix operations.
  36.     - basic statistical operations on sets.
  37.     - full derivation of functions.
  38.     - nice GUI.
  39.     - offers a revolutionary way of handling experimental results
  40.     with errors using gaussian error distribution.
  41.     - localized. Currently english and german.
  42.     - full featured installer script
  43.     - documentation in AmigaGuide, ASCII and DVI
  44.     - procedures and simple programming features

  46. Requirements:
  47.     - CPU: 68020 or better (no FPU needed)
  48.     - OS: 3.0 or better
  49.     - MUI: 3.3
  50.     - MEM: much!!!

  52. Changes since V0.6:
  53.     - lots of minor fixes and improvements
  54.     - complete new parser featuring procedures etc.
  55.     - complete new GUI (even if you can't see a big difference..)

  57. Notes:
  58.       I think, this version is quite crappy... A lot of things have changed,
  59.     but this was spread over a quite long period of time, so I some
  60.     lost the survey. I think that there are a lot of bugs... It's
  61.     time to make it public, so you can help me finding them!!

  63.       There are also some things mentioned in the manual that are currently
  64.     not implemented or menu entries that don't work:
  65.     - 'Project/Iconify', 'Project/Preferences', 'Project/Delete' don't work
  66.     - 'Project/Load..' always uses the current window
  67.     - probably more things that I forgot. PLEASE REPORT 'EM!!!!

  69.       There is a quite interesting bug: sometimes the manual is display, if you
  70.     select the menu entry 'Help/Index', sometimes nothing happens... Don't know
  71.     where the problem is...

  73.       Another problem (that is caused by MUI) is that you can't use 'Help/Search..'
  74.     twice. MUI keeps a lock on the temporary index file, so it can't be
  75.     overwritten. You have to open another guide, before you can use 'Help/Search..'
